Transfer of Functions

Civilian Conservation Corps camps transferred to Administrator of Food Production and Distribution by former section 1355(e) of the former Appendix to Title 50, War and National Defense.

Sections Continued for Purposes of Liquidation

Liquidation of C.C.C.

July 2, 1942, ch. 475 56 Stat. 569 July 12, 1943, ch. 221 57 Stat. 499 Acts , title II, , and , title II, , appropriated funds to enable the Director of the Civilian Conservation Corps to provide for the liquidation of the Civilian Conservation Corps and the latter provided that “said liquidation shall be completed as quickly as possible but in any event not later than .”

Liquidation of all enrollees and overhead personnel was accomplished by , pursuant to a directive of Director of C.C.C., except for a skeleton force which was retained to transfer supplies and material to Army, Navy, and Civil Aeronautics Authority.

Transfer of Equipment
